Through music, I create art that tells a story about how seemingly distant parts of life are actually deeply enmeshed. Through data analysis, I have a different opportunity to do something similar, to find hidden relationships and tell a story about how and why they work.
Ten years into my career as a musician and music teacher, I became curious about how computers work. I took up Python programming in my spare time and then earned a certificate in data analytics and visualization from Columbia University. As my experience in this field continues to grow, I plan to apply my skills to some of my other interests like history, markets, aviation, and logistics.
